Chris A. Goring, AAS (Paramedic Technology), NRP, I/C, is a paramedic and nationally respected EMS educator based in Massachusetts with more than a decade of frontline 911 experience and community-focused practice. He serves as the Lead Instructor Coordinator for the Northern Essex Community College EMT Program, where he oversees EMT curriculum, mentors instructor candidates, and promotes evidence-based standards within entry-level EMS education. Chris is also Adjunct Faculty for the NECC Paramedic Program, contributing to simulation design, lectures, and student evaluation.
Chris is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree, expanding his academic foundation in emergency medical systems and adult education. He has developed a parallel career as an EMS educational content creator, producing instructor manuals, scenario workbooks, quizzes, infographics, and digital learning tools for websites and hybrid platforms. In addition to traditional response, Chris works as a Mobile Integrated Health Paramedic, providing in-home assessments, chronic disease follow-up, and hospital-avoidance strategies that bridge EMS with primary and preventive care.
He is bilingual in English and Spanish and has collaborated extensively with fire, rescue, and EMS agencies throughout the Dominican Republic and Latin America. Known for a physiology-first philosophy, Chris emphasizes critical thinking, compassionate communication, and continuous improvement, helping providers deliver patient-centered care while strengthening teamwork across the full spectrum of emergency response.
